Jack Keith Maples 78, of Knoxville passed away Monday, November 30, 2020. He served as a paratrooper in the 82nd Airborne Division, Fort Bragg. NC from 1961-1964. Jack attended night classes in computer science after an honorable discharge. He worked as a computer programmer in Ohio, Tennessee and North Carolina until his retirement. Jack loved the Great Smokey Mountains, American muscle cars, coffee, his dogs and especially his final cat, Sweetie. He was preceded in death by sister, Kay Sharon Keith; parents, Earl Ernest and Ethel F. Maples; daughter, Tina Lee Maples. Jack is survived by wife of 38 years, Josephine Ann (Szablewski) Maples; son, Brent Keith Maples; brother and sister-in-law, Ernie (Pat) Maples; several nieces and nephews.
