OBITUARY

Jack H. Nave

October 12, 1943September 3, 2021

Jack H. Nave, age 77 of Sevierville, went to his heavenly home on Friday, September 3, 2021. Jack was retired from Home Depot as well as American Limestone Quarry. He was of the Baptist Faith. Jack was a hard-working, kind man of integrity who was generous and humble. He enjoyed fishing, Nascar racing, muscle cars and riding in his Corvette with his shotgun rider, Ardetta. He loved his three furbabies, Princess, Barbie, and Pebbles. To know him was to love him and he will be greatly missed.

Jack was preceded in death by his wife, Jo; parents, Hazel and Mildred Nave; infant brother, Clayton Nave; sister, Ernestine Blalock; and great-nephew Daniel Shearl. He leaves to cherish his memory, beloved wife, Ardetta Nave; nephew, Jimmy Blalock; niece, Jane (Frank) Shearl; and other extended family and friends.

Jack's family will celebrate his life privately as he wished. He will be laid to rest in a Private Family Ceremony at Berry Highland South Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests you pay forward an act of kindness in memory of Jack's generosity. Berry Highland South is honored to serve the Nave family and invites you to view and sign their online guestbook at berryhighlandsouth.com.

Jack will certainly be missed by all of is here in Virginia that got to know him.
He was a man of few words, but when he spoke it was with purpose and great meaning. Loved our times of fellowship, riding with your side kicks to the hills of Virginia and Kentucky, seeing Dettas hair blowing in the wind and Jack dawning that red corvette hat, not a hair out of place when we got where we were going, RIP our friend, heaven is just a heartbeat away!!!!

I only met Jack once while I got to spend an afternoon with him and Ardetta, who is my cousin. Ardetta has had some tough times in her life and I was so happy that she found Jack. Their love for each other was adorable. I am so very sorry that they had such a short time together. It breaks my heart! He was kind, gentle, loving and generous! And he loved Jesus. My prayers are with Ardetta and all of his family. Love, Betty

I am so sorry Ardetta that you two did not have more time together.
I did not even get to meet you. Jack and I grew up in the same community in S. Knoxville and graduated from Young High School the same year. He has been a friend and neighbor in Sevier County
for several years and will be sorely missed. Prayers for the family.
