Among my family's treasures are Merry Christmas signs JT made for my mom, Marie Ogle Hamilton, and for me and my family (after I admired hers).  He was such a sweet man, always good humored and laughing.  I saw him only rarely over the years, but knowing we were related gave a nice, warm feeling.

So sorry to have missed the service.  Did not find out until Sunday when on a walk with Ann Beets.  Hopefully knowing  that he is at Peace now and your memories of the great times will be comforting. Prayers are with you.

Jack will be missed by his Island Home Park family. His sweet smile and joking ways were evident to us all.  You are all in our thoughts and prayers.

Dear Lisa, Tom, and Joanie:  I was so sorry to see in today's paper that Jay had died.  Please give my sympathy to all of your family.  J.T. and Alex sang Barbershop together.  What a great guy!  We had lots of connections, with Anderson School, Barbershop, exercise class (Joanie), Allen's Sign Company, June and the Health Department, and South Knoxville in general.  I love you all, and I'm praying for you in the coming days.  I don't drive, so I'm writing this to you instead of attending the funeral.

   Barbara and I are so sorry for your loss, J.T, was a special  friend to us both. Barbara attended school with J.T. in Burlington and knew him longer than I did, but I knew him from playing golf and helping each other. We have two stained glass birds he made for us displayed in our home. We know how much you miss him but he suffered long enough. We will keep you and the family in our prayers.

Ms. Vaughn, Mark, Lisa, Tom, Nick, Emily, and other family: So sorry for your loss. Mr. Vaughn was a very nice man and helpful and friendly to me when I was younger. He often helped the scout program when I was a teen in the troop with Mark. He was a great outdoorsman and I learned a lot from him. You have my condolences.

I'm so sorry for your loss, Joanie. You're in my thoiughts during this difficult time. We can't do anything to change what happened but I hope it helps at least a little bit to know how much we all love you.
