She was a proud 1993 graduate of Clinton High School.
Jackie was fun-loving, young at heart, and always full of laughter and smiles. Her joyful presence could brighten any room, and she had a way of making everyone around her feel welcome and loved. Her family and friends especially enjoyed playfully aggravating her, knowing her laughter would follow. She was well known for beginning her stories and thoughts with “You know what…" a phrase that always made everyone pause, smile, and get ready for whatever she was about to say.
Jackie loved movies, especially anything featuring her favorite actor, Costas Mandylor, and 80’s rock. She took delight in life’s simple pleasures—vanilla milkshakes, Sonic cheese coneys, and time spent with the people she loved most. She adored birthdays and holidays, always planning ahead for the next celebration and always asking others what they wanted for gifts. Making others happy was truly her love language.
Her humor and expressions will remain unforgettable, especially her familiar line, “Daggum, I’m tired…” which she delivered with a grin that could warm anyone’s heart. Jackie had a special gift with babies and children, who were naturally drawn to her gentle, playful spirit. She often asked others if she looked her age, but those who knew her best knew that her youthful energy and bright personality kept her forever young.
Jackie’s warmth, laughter, and vibrant spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. The joy she shared and the memories she created will continue to live on in the hearts of those she touched.
She was preceded in death by father, William Edward "Ed" Riggs; mother, Wanda Sue Sharp; aunt, Dorothy "Dot" Mchan and many other dear family members.
Jackie is survived by her brother, Joe Riggs and wife, Brittney; nephew, Konner Riggs; niece, Charli Riggs and many other extended family members and friends.
