It’s with a heavy heart that I announce my mother, Jackie Van Campen, 84, of Loudon, TN passed away peacefully on January 20, 2024 after a brief illness. She was born in Marquand, Missouri, but lived a large portion of her adult life in Iowa and Florida.
Jackie was preceded in death by her parents Cecil and Lola, husband Phillip, son Monty, brother Homer, sister Mickie, and her beloved dog Sunshine. She is survived by her one son Gilbert; three sisters Verla, Betty, and Sandy; two grandkids Justin and Cicely; and five great grandkids Tyler, Isabel, Jacob, Gage, and Caelan. Jackie had many cherished friendships too. She was much loved, and will be missed, by all who knew her.
My mother asked that she be cremated and there not be a funeral. Per her request there will be no service. Mom asked that her loved ones just hold onto their happiest memories of her. No flowers please. For those wishing to honor Jackie’s life, please donate in her memory to sbret.com or an animal shelter near you.
I wanted to take a moment to thank River Grove Health and Rehabilitation Nursing Home in Loudon TN for the care and support they provided my mother the last few years.
