JAMES MICHAEL BUMGARDNER age 67 of Knoxville, passed away Tuesday, April 19, 2016 at his home. He was a member of Copper Ridge Baptist Church and Air Force Veteran of Vietnam War. Preceded in death by his loving wife, Shirley Jean Bumgardner; parents, H.M. and Ruth Bumgardner; brother, Steve Bumgardner; special friends, Sheila and Rebecca Crawford. Survived by son, Brad Bumgardner and daughter, Jennifer Bumgardner; brothers, Wayne, Paul, David and Mark Bumgardner; sisters, Brenda Smallin and Arlene Anthony; several nieces and nephews. He was a second father to, Sandra and Troy Griffith and honorary grandfather, to, Carly and Rylee Griffith. The family will receive friends 5-7 pm Saturday at Weaver’s Chapel with the service to follow at 7 pm. Reverends Jeremiah Dixon and Tom Berry officiating.
