

Jim is survived by his high school sweetheart and wife of 60 years, Sandra Fletcher Fuller; sons, Robert M. "Bob" Fuller and Joseph E. "Joe" Fuller (Wesley); four grandchildren, Anderson, Jacob, Fletcher and Abigail Fuller; sister-in-law, Margaret A. Fuller; brother-in-law, Mark H. Fletcher (Jean.)
Jim was preceded in death by parents, Raymond M. Fuller and Teresa G. Fuller and his brother, Daniel W. Fuller.
A 1962 graduate of Central High School, Knoxville, he earned his BS Degree in 1967 from the University of Tennessee, majoring in Business Administration, Personnel Management. Jim was a member of the U.T. Society of Advancement of Management Business fraternity. He spent his entire career in manufacturing management.
Jim’s love of the outdoors lasted a lifetime and his early childhood was spent fishing, hunting and swimming along Beaver Creek, Powell. He loved sports and played football for Oak Ridge High School and Central High School. Hobbies included fishing, hunting, gardening and golf. Jim also enjoyed trout fly fishing on the Hiwassee River in Reliance, TN. A special trout fly fishing trip was to the Madison River in Montana with son Joe and grandson Fletcher.
Special memories during his youth were made quail hunting on the Cumberland Plateau every Saturday with his dad, Ray, and best friend, Gary Hamilton. Ray and Jim raised quail and released them on the Cumberland Plateau to replenish wild quail population. Pete and Charlie were his beloved pointer bird dogs, and they faithfully accompanied him on every hunting trip.
While in college, Jim worked summers by growing and selling tomatoes to local grocery stores. He helped pay his way through college by working as a journeyman apprentice at Ferguson Engineering, Oak Ridge.

A graveside service will be held Monday, June 22, 2026, 1:00 pm at Berry Highland Memorial Cemetery with friend, Randy Humphries, Loudon, TN, officiating.
