James Ralph Keith

KEITH, JAMES (RALPH) - born February 3, 1923, was ushered into the presence of his Lord and Savior on March 21, 2013.He was deacon and Sunday school teacher at Valley View Baptist Church, he loved and honored the Lord with his life and was a daily testimony to all those he came in contact with. Ralph was a Army veteran of WW II. He was greeted there by his parents, Jim and Grace; and sisters, Elsie Crisp and Lillian Foster; brothers, Lawrence, Charles, Eugene and Curtis; grandson, Aaron Keith. He leaves behind his loving wife of 70 years, Gladys Keith; children and their spouses, Betty and Archie Robinson, Katherine and Dick Wilson and Darrell and Jacklyn Keith; brother and spouse, Carrol and Bobbie Keith; sister-in-law, Wilma Keith; grandchildren and spouses, Tina and Mike Brogdon, Kristi and Scott Phillips, Keith and Sunni Wilson, Bryan and Jennifer Johnson, Angela and Justin McClure and Joe and Angela Keith; seventeen great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank the staff at Brakebill Nursing Home for the loving care they gave to their father. He loved all of them. The family will receive friends 2:00 - 4:00 p.m., Sunday, at Weaver's Chapel with the service to follow at 4:00 p.m. Reverends Justin Pratt and Guy Milam officiating. Family and friends will meet at 1:15 p.m. Wednesday at East Tennessee Veterans Cemetery on John Sevier for a 1:30 p.m. interment.
