James Turner Ogg, age 87, of Knoxville, went home to be with his Lord and Savior Monday, April 20, 2015. He was a member of Sevier Heights Baptist Church. Mr. Ogg retired from Bell South and he served as Pastor for many years at Emanuel Baptist Church in Bean Station. Preceeded in death by his wife, Rachel Mae Ogg, brother, Joel Ogg and sister, Ina Jo Ogg. Survivors include daughter, Darlene (Richard) Fink, son, Darrell (Susan) Ogg, grandchildren, Rusty (Elizabeth) Smith, Allysia (Paul) Eppinette, Ashley, Christian and Kaleb Cooper, great-granddaughter, Lydia Grace Eppinette, brother, Dr. Billy (LuAnne) Ogg, many nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends Thursday, April 23, 2015 from 5-7pm, with a Funeral Service to follow at 7pm in the Chapel of Berry Highland Memorial, 5315 Kingston Pike, Knoxville, Tennessee, 37919 with Rev. Charlie McNutt officiating. Family and friends will meet Friday, April 24, 2015 at 9:30am at Berry Highland Memorial for a 10am Entombment Service.
