James "Bob" Robert Ott, age 86 passed away on Saturday, March 4, 2023. He was born March 14, 1936. He was of Baptist faith and is preceded in death by his parents Charlie and Minnie Tarrwater Ott; brothers Paul, Jessie, Albert, Sam and Otis Ott; nephew Darrell Widener.
Bob is survived by his loving wife Mary Ruth Sise Ott; daughter & son-in-law Jean and Jerry Childress; a special grandson & wife James and Melodi Childress; great granddaughter and love of his life Lily Jean Childress.
A graveside service for Bob will be held Tuesday, March 7, 2023 at 3:00 PM at Berry Highland South, 9010 Simpson Rd, Knoxville, TN 37920. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Smokey Mountain Children's Home.
