

James (Jim) Archie Otto passed away Wednesday, August 28, 2024 at the age of 90. He was surrounded by friends and family in Knoxville, TN. He was born on May 21, 1934, to Archie and Vanna Otto in South Haven, MI. After graduationg from Tri-State University in Agnola, IN, he and his wife, Patricia (Pat), moved to Knoxville, TN.
His decades of hard work and dedication at Fulton Bellows Company LLC, previously Robertshaw, working as a mechanical engineer earned him a well-deserved retirement at the age of 63. As a proud member of First Baptist Concord Church, he dedicated his life to serving the Lord and furthering the Kingdom of God. He served with the SBC Disaster Relief, Concord's Handyman ministry, Mission of Hope, mulitple overseas and local mission trips, and much more.
Jim was preceded in death by parents; Archie and Vanna, brother; Lester, grandson; William, and mother-in-law; Janette (Gaga). He is survived by his wife of 65 years; Patricia (Pat), Daughter; Krista (Kristi), Grandchildren; Grayson, Sam and Sara, Nieces and Nephews; Brenda, Doreen, Steve, Mark and Dennis, and many more loving friends and family.
Celebration of Life will be held at First Baptist Concord (11704 Kingston PIke) on Thursday, September 5th at 6:30pm. Receiving of Friends will be held prior to the service starting at 5:00pm. In lieu of flowers and gifts, donations can be made to the Handyman Ministry at First Baptist Concord or to the Mission of Hope.
