Aaron was a loving husband, father, son, brother, uncle, and friend whose kindness and generous spirit touched the lives of so many. He was the kind of person who always thought of others first. With his wonderful sense of humor, easygoing nature, and ever-present smile, Aaron had a way of making people feel comfortable and cared for. Although he was laid back, he was rarely still and always seemed to be busy doing something for the people he loved.
Aaron had a lifelong love of cars, especially Porsche, and enjoyed golf, tennis, and NASCAR. These passions brought him great enjoyment, but it was the time spent with family and friends that meant the most to him.
Aaron dedicated 30 years of his life to the News Sentinel, where he was the "life-blood" of the Distribution Dept. He was valued as a hard worker. His commitment to his work and the people around him was a reflection of the dependable and caring person he was.
Aaron was married to his beloved wife, Theresa Stallard, for 26 years. Together they built a life filled with love, family, laughter, and countless memories. He was a devoted father and took great pride in his children.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Rick Haga; granddaddy, Buddy Tharp and grandmomma Bobbie Tharp; aunt, Melba Madden; and special cousin, Tom Madden.
Aaron is survived by his loving wife, Theresa Stallard; daughter, Audrey Demboski; sons, James Devan Stallard and James Taylor Stallard; mother, Debbie Tharp; stepfather, Ed Anderson; father, James Darrell Stallard and wife, Rhonda; nieces, Cassie Dailey and family, and Madison Haga and her children; best friends, Paul Evans, Debbie Osborne Howe and Linda Koontz; his beloved fur baby, KoKo Meister; and his cats, Taz and Bella Marie.
Aaron will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. His smile, humor, kindness, and caring heart will remain in the memories of his family and friends forever. Though his time with us was far too short, the love he gave and the lives he touched will never be forgotten.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, August 26, 2026, from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM in the chapel of Berry Funeral Home, 3704 Chapman Highway, Knoxville, TN 37920. A Celebration of Life Service will follow at 2:00 PM.
