Jane Kinsey Johnson

Jane Kinsey Johnson died Tuesday, December 8th 2020 at Phoebe Sumter Medical Center in Americus,GA. She was born February 10th, 1942 in Knoxville TN., to John B and Elizabeth A Kinsey. She graduated from Holston Hills High School and attended Trinity University in San Antonio Tx. She graduated from Kansas State University with a Bachelors of Science in 1981. She was a career sales representative with the Revlon Corporation. In 1961 she married Norman K Johnson of Junction City , KS . They had two children Ken H Johnson of Flower Mound TX and Avis E Johnson of Plains GA. They both survive her. She was active in Garden Club and the Democratic Party, serving a Kansas Delegate for then Senator Albert Gore to the 1982 Democratic Convention.

She is preceded in death by her parents , a sister Sonja Funk and her husband of 44 years Norman K Johnson. She is survived by Ken and Avis her 2 children. A daughter in law Andrea C Johnson of Flower Mound TX., Grandsons Ryan M Johnson of Denver Co and Alex M Johnson of Flower Mound TX.

A private burial will take place at Berry Highland Memorial Cemetery in Knoxville TN.
