Jane was preceded in death by her parents, John Anderson Pack and Lois Harrison Pack of Sweetwater TN, and her sister and brother in law, Judith Pack McWhorter and Jerry McWhorter of Knoxville. She is survived by her two sons, Johnny Miller (Kristi) and Jeffrey Miller (Maxi) and three grandchildren, John Kramer Miller, Cameron McClellan Miller and Reilly Alexandra Miller; three loving nieces, Jennifer McWhorter Mulkey, Amy McWhorter Clarke (Ken), and Julie McWhorter Moore (Roger) and eight children between the three of them.
Jane grew up in Sweetwater where she was Valedictorian, President of Student Council, voted Most Likely to Succeed and Most Athletic in the 1960 graduation class. After two years attending UT Knoxville, Jane got married and moved to Memphis with her husband as he earned a medical degree. Her sons were born in Memphis and the family later settled in Johnson City, TN where Jane raised her boys and nurtured life long friendships. In the mid 1980s, Jane relocated one more time to Knoxville where her sister lived and her sons attended UT.
In the early 1990's, Jane took a chance and started a career in sales when Lexus of Knoxville opened. It was time for the Most Likely to Succeed superlative to be proven correct. Bolstered by her competitive nature and smarts, Jane earned local and national recognition in newspapers and magazines with multiple awards at Lexus and later Mercedes Benz for her sales success and for paving the way for women in a male dominated industry. After her fifteen year career, Jane settled into retirement in a loving partner relationship that started when she sold a good man a car. They enjoyed attending TN football and basketball games together, traveling, good food, family and friends.
The family would like to thank the staff at American House and Hospice for their loving care.
A graveside service will be held for Jane on Saturday, December 20, 2025 at 3pm inside the Chapel Mausoleum at Berry Highland Memorial Cemetery.
