Janet B. Jeffries

She worked at Crouch Florist for 10 years designing beautiful flower pieces and continued to do so around the home as well. Janet was also a beautician for many years at various salons. Most notably, she was one of the founders of Feral Feline Friends of Knoxville, where she rescued cats and helped make sure they were placed into a safe and loving home. She liked to go on rides in the countryside and going to Cade’s Cove to see the mountains, and taking trips to Cherokee, NC. Janet loved to garden and had beautiful flowerbeds that everyone loved to stop and admire. She was a devout Christian with a strong love for the Lord. She found beauty in everything around her.

Janet is preceded in death by her parents Harvey and Alene Burchell.

She is survived by her husband Danny Jeffries; son Jameson Parker and sisters Kathy, Debbie and Bertha.

The family welcomes friends to Berry Highland West Funeral Home and Cemetery for a Visitation on Monday, August 4, 2025, from 1pm-2pm with a Funeral Service at 2pm and a Graveside Service to follow.
