Janice Diane Wright, age 73 of Knoxville, TN, passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 22, 2021 with her daughter and granddaughter by her side. Janice worked for Tennessee Orthopedic Clinic for over 30 years. She was a member of Highland Park Baptist Church in Lenoir City. Janice was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Wright; parents, Walter & Wilma Spears; and brothers, Steve & Tim Spears.
Janice is survived by daughter & son-in-law, Jan Douglas & Tommy Rowe; granddaughter, Samantha Douglas; sisters-in-law, Francis Jennings & Betty Wright; cousin, Eddie Williams; friend, Darlene Frazier; aunt, Terrel Willett; friends, Shirley Oglesby, Judy Ward, and Linda Dewitt; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, & cousins.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, May 26, 2021 at Berry Highland West, 9913 Sherrill Blvd, Knoxville, from 5:00pm - 7:00pm. The funeral service will immediately follow at 7:00pm with Rev. Eddie Click officiating. Janice's graveside service and interment will be Thursday, May 27, 2021 at 11:00am at Berry Highland West Cemetery.
