Janie Sue Jackson

Janie was born May 7, 1951 and was a life long resident of the Solway Community. She graduated from Karns High School in 1969. Janie worked various positions at Walmart over 29 years and at Solway Exxon for several years. She was a member of Solway United Methodist Church.

Janie was preceded in death by her father, James W. Fox; mother, Bonnie H. (Bailey) Fox; sister, Judy Fox; sister-in-law, Susie Fox; father-in-law, Xen D. “Red” Raines; mother-in-law, Owena Raines; and brothers-in-law, John Jackson and Phillip Raines; nephew, Willie Raines.

Janie is survived by her husband of 55 years, Ray; daughters, Piper (Chris) and Kristi (Danny); brother, Jimmie Fox; grandsons, Nick, Stone (Jesse), Caleb, and Mason; granddaughters, Sydney, Cayleigh (Dalton), Kirsten (Tyler), Courtney, Emma, and Josie; great-grandsons, Andrew, Kolt, Caulder, Cooper, Adam, and Jayce; great-granddaughter, Breece; sisters-in-law, Yvonne Leffew, Susan Raines Burleson, and Linda Raines; brothers-in-law, Donnie (Donna) and Dewayne (Angie).

A Celebration of Life for Janie and her sister, Judy, will be held at a later date close to Christmas (her and Judy’s favorite time of year).
