Shephard, James C. “J.C.” 78 of Knoxville, TN passed away at home with his family at his side. He was long time member of New Hopewell Baptist Church. J.C. was a proud U.S. Navy Veteran. He was preceded in death by parents, Grace and Lawrence Shephard; brothers, Homer, David, Stanley Shephard. J.C. is survived by daughter, Stephanie (Kevin) Glover; grandchildren, Kevin Ward, James Ward; great grandchildren, Colten, Olivia, Payton; brother, Willis (Patsy) Shephard; sister, Phyllis (Doyle) Hurd; nieces, nephews and many friends at the corner market. Family will receive friends Thursday, April 6th from 5-7pm at Berry Highland South on Simpson Road. Graveside service will be Friday, April 7th at 9:30 am at East Tennessee Veterans Cemetery on Gov.
