Jean-Anne Castle of Knoxville passed away on June 3, 2026 at 68 years old, due to complications brought on by her battle with cancer. She was born on August 14, 1957 in Knoxville to Ronald Castle and Anne Niziol.
Jean-Anne was preceded in death by her father Ronald and son Dustin Breeden. She is survived by her mother Anne of Knoxville, brother Craig of Knoxville, son Riley Breeden of San Antonio TX, his wife Casey and her adoring grandchildren Estella, Ophelia, Vivian, Oliver, Evelyn, and Cecelia, beloved aunt Patricia Bryson of Harlan, KY, family friend Sandra Johnson of Harlan, KY, and her true love, Tom Dockendorff of Knoxville. Jean-Anne also leaves behind precious friends who gave her many special memories.
Jean-Anne’s favorite pastimes were lunches with her friends, along with doting on her grandchildren and her cats, Nia, Nibbles, and Sadie. The best measure of Jean-Anne’s nature was her love of children, that she never missed an opportunity to help those less fortunate, and providing for any animal that needed food. The family would like to extend their gratitude for the medical teams that did the best they could during her treatments and surgery. Memorial services will be private. Condolences may be sent to Riley Breeden, 13410 Muses, Universal City, TX 78148
