

Jean Rose Reynolds, aged 69, of Knoxville passed away Friday morning at the University of Tennessee Medical Center. Jean was born July 4, 1948 in Bearden and was preceded in death by her parents, Bruce E. Reynolds and Rosalie L. Like Reynolds, brothers Earl Edwin Reynolds and Earl Wayne Reynolds, and sister Gwendolyn A. Reynolds. Jean was a very loving, giving Christian, who faithfully attended Sutherland Avenue Baptist Church. Her church family was precious to her, just as she was precious to her own family, and she will be missed by them all. Jean attended Western High School in Detroit, Michigan and was, also, an employee of the Shatter Proof Glass Company in Detroit. She is survived by her ex-husband Gerald N. Soelz Sr. of Detroit, son Gerald N. Soelz Jr. of Rochester Hills, Michigan, daughter Donna Niese, son in law Ron Niese of Bloomington, Indiana, grandson Kody A Niese of Corydon Indiana, sisters Brenda Baker of Aletha Springs, Georgia, Wanda and Russell Sorber, Darlene and Ed Huey, Patricia (Patty) Reynolds, all of Knoxville. Nieces and nephews Michael Reynolds, Michele and husband Rob Roberts, all of Michigan, Allen and wife Angie Baker of Shelbyville, Indiana, Robert Freeman, Benjamin Huey and wife Ashley of Knoxville, and Kera and husband Beau Huegel of Greensburg, Indiana. Great-nieces and nephews Brice and C.J. Reynolds , Evan, Maxim and Jackson Roberts, all of Michigan, and Brian Freeman and Lauren Huey of Knoxville. Her family would like to thank all of the medical staff at the University of Tennessee Medical Center who tended to her. Family will receive friends on Monday, August 28, 2017 from 5:30 PM until 7:30 PM in the chapel of Berry Funeral Home, 3704 Chapman Highway with the funeral service to follow at 7:30 PM, Rev.
