Jenny Rule

Jenny Rollins (Ford) Rule, 92, passed away September 9, 2026, into the arms of her Lord Jesus to join her Heavenly family. Jenny lived in Knoxville until 2023 when she moved to Wellington Manor Assisted Living to be closer to her family.

Jenny was born August 6, 1934, in Chattanooga, Tennessee. She was the youngest child of Jewel and Mary Rollins. She is preceded in death by her parents, several siblings and her husband of 22 years, Ralph E. Rule, Jr.

Jenny was a charter of Grace Baptist Church in Newport, Tennessee. Upon moving to Knoxville, she joined Riverdale Baptist Church and was an active member for many years. Upon moving back to Newport, Jenny rejoined Grace Baptist Church.

She is survived by her sons, Daniel (Teresa) Ford, Eddie (Ann) Ford, and Barry (Priscilla) Ford; Stepchildren, Sonny (Cindy) Rule and Donna Kay (Gary) Stooksbury. She was blessed to have three grandsons, Jonathan, Stephen and David Ford; five great grandsons, Graeson, Issac, Colton, Solomon and Caleb.

Funeral services will be Saturday morning, September 12, 2026, at McCarthy-Evergreen Funeral Home, 7426 Asheville Highway, Knoxville, Tennessee. Receiving of Friends will be 9:00 - 10:00, Funeral Service - 10:00. Burial will be at 11:00 at Eastview Memorial Gardens, 1320 Andrew Johnson Highway, Strawberry Plains, Tennessee.
