

Jeremy Bryon Lane, 48, cherished son, brother, nephew, and uncle passed away peacefully with his family by his side May 24, 2025. Jeremy grew up in the Karns area where he attended Karns High School. Jeremy later went on to attend TCAT of Knoxville and followed in his father’s, Ernest, footsteps spending his career at Performance Pipe where he was nicknamed, “J-Lo”. Jeremy was a dedicated son to his mother Brenda and went above and beyond to make sure she was cared for. He accepted everyone as they are and when Jeremy made a friend, it was for life. A music lover, Jeremy could be found playing the drums or enjoying a wide variety of music. He also enjoyed attending or watching NASCAR races with his father. One of Jeremy’s favorite life experiences was visiting the Daytona International Speedway. Being a Dale Earnhardt fan, Jeremy loved seeing the monuments at the Speedway with his niece Kiana. Jeremy was an avid reader of Historical Events especially World War II and The Civil War. He also spent time reading and learning about the Bible. Jeremy is survived by his parents, Ernest and Brenda Lane (Miller), aunt Vicky Harrell (Miller), sister Jamie Lane and niece Kiana Lane, sister Jennifer Farmer (Lane) and nieces Autumn, Gracie, and nephew Isaiah, special family friend Shannon McElhose, close friend Matt Weaver and many other friends and family members. The family will host a celebration of life in Jeremy’s honor Friday June the 6th from 6:00 to 8:00 PM with service to follow at 8:00 PM. Weaver Funeral Home on Western Avenue.
