Jerry, I didn't know you, but I too, am a Navy vet. I was a Machinist Mate on the USS Pyro AE-24, in the late 80s/early 90s. I read the entire story in a paper here in Phoenix- My heart is heavy & I have shed many tears. I wish I could reach out and hug you! You are with the angels now, where you deserve to be ? God bless and many thanks to Dignity Memorial Homeless Veterans Burial Program!
