Born on November 28, 1943, in Jackson, Alabama, Jerry lived a full and meaningful life rooted in family, faith, and hard work. Jerry dedicated many years of his life to his career at the Robertshaw Foundry in Knoxville, Tennessee, where he worked diligently until his retirement. His strong work ethic and commitment to providing for his family were hallmarks of his character. A devoted member of Eastwood Baptist Church, Jerry found strength and community through his faith. His presence was a familiar and comforting one among fellow congregants.
Jerry was a loving father and grandfather whose greatest joy came from time spent with family. He is lovingly remembered by his children: Jerry Lynn Patterson, Bryan Patterson, Scott Patterson, and Angela Blevins; daughters-in-law Lora Patterson, Lisa Patterson, and Mary Patterson; twelve grandchildren; and thirteen great-grandchildren. His legacy continues through each of them.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Judy Patterson; his parents Beulah and William Patterson; brothers Steve and Bruce Patterson; and granddaughter Ashley Maier.
In his leisure time, Jerry enjoyed the simple pleasures of life—he had a deep love for old cars and could often be found watching races or reminiscing about classic models. He also cherished camping trips and quiet days spent fishing—activities that brought him peace and joy throughout the years. May Jerry’s memory bring comfort to those who knew him and serve as a lasting reminder of a life well lived.
