Dear Diane,
I am so sorry for your loss as Jerry was always such a sweet, caring and all around wonderful person. As you know, me and my sisters’ (Jerre and Judy) and brother (Mike) grew up with him and his brothers’ at Fort Hill. Our parents made sure we all were in Sunday School, Training Union, Vacation Bible School, Youth Group, and Choir. Also, under different circumstances, you and I could have been sisters’ in law. I know you and Jerry had a happy life together, and beautiful children, and I wish I could have gotten to know them. I’m so very glad you listened to the advice I gave you what now seems like a lifetime ago, when I told you to ‘follow’ your heart ❤️ and you did. I pray for God to comfort you, and your family. I cannot imagine the heartache you must be feeling at this sad time. Take refuge in believing that when gone from this life, we are in Heaven and are in the presence of God. May the Lord bless you and keep you.

I am so sorry to hear of Jerry’s passing. I have so many memories of all the cousins coming to aunt June’s house and playing ball in the back yard. We were all so close and it seems like yesterday. Everyone just grew apart and I wish we had stayed close. My God comfort the family during this difficult time. Love and prayers to all.
