This is a special tribute to the beautiful angel that God sent to this earth on September 19, 1982. His name is Jesse Heath Erwin and he was our special blessing from God. Jesse was such a sweet, laughing, loving, and caring little boy that was always getting special awards at school. The walls were filled with them. He was a total joy to be around and he loved to make people laugh. Jesse accepted the Lord as his personal savior when he was 7 years old on Easter Sunday and was baptized the following Easter at the age of 8 years old.
Unfortunately, Jesse left us February 26, 2024. It was totally unexpected and when he left, a part of us went with him. He was a generous, brilliant, loving person and no amount of words can really express what he was really like. Jesse was an avid collector and true Marvel fanatic. He was so close to his sister, Tasha Erwin. They talked to one another every morning and every evening after he left work at Y-12 Nuclear Plant in Oak Ridge, Tennessee, where he was a Senior Health Physics Technician. He would come and stay with her on the weekends and they had such a special bond. Jesse totally loved his brother, Brandon Erwin, Sr., and he really loved it when Brandon cooked for him. They were able to draw closer together in the 7 months that Brandon lived in Tennessee. God knew what was to come and gave them that special time together.
Jesse is preceded in death by his Dad, Don Erwin; sister, Jan Price; maternal grandparents, Frank and Nell Trehern; paternal grandparents, Herbert and Gertrude Erwin and numerous other relatives.
He is survived by his mother, Lynda Erwin; sister, Tasha Michele Erwin; brother, Brandon Erwin, Sr.; nephews: Brandon Pardon, Joshua Erwin, Jacob Erwin, Diego Erwin; nieces: Madison Torres, Gracie Tafoya along with a lot of other relatives and many friends.
Jesse has left this earth but he will forever be in our hearts, thoughts, and memories. We will always love you Jesse Heath Erwin and one day we will be reunited with you and what a glorious day that will be!
A Memorial Service will be held at a later date. The family invites friends to sign the online guestbook and share fond memories of Jesse at www.berryfuneralhome.com
