Jetty Robinette Middleton-age 86, of Maryville, TN, passed away peacefully on September 19, 2022. She was the wife of Shelby Middleton. They met at Ball Camp Baptist Church, where they later got married on June 25, 1955. Jetty was born in Lynch, Kentucky, on a snowy Christmas Day, to Odes and Irene Robinette. She grew up in Oak Ridge and the Ball Camp Community and graduated from karns High School. Jetty received a Bachelor's of Arts in Education degree from Miami University of Ohio. She was a dedicated educator who started her teaching career in Ohio and went on to retire from Halls Middle School in Knoxville, TN. Jetty and Shelby were long-time members of West Emory Presbyterian Church and current members of New Providence Presbyterian Church in Maryville, TN. Jetty was loved by her family and many friends. She was a loving mother to her sons and the most cherished Nana to all of her grandchildren. Jetty was preceded in death by her parents, Odes Robinette and Irene Monday Robinette.She is survived by her husband, Shelby Middleton; sons and daughter-ion-law, Terry Middleton and Brian and Susan Middleton; grandchildren, Nicolas Middleton, Mackenzie and Andy Siperly, Tyler Middleton, and Alee Middleton; great-grandchild, Eliza Drew Siperly; sisters, Joyce Haynes and Phyllis Burns; brother, J.D. Robinette. Jetty is also survived by many other loving family members. The family will receive friends on Saturday, October 1, 2022 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Berry Funeral Home with service to immediately follow: 3704 Chapman Highway, Knoxville, TN 37920. A Graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. at West Emory Presbyterian Church: 1035 Emory Church Road, Knoxville, TN 37922.
