Joan Carol Davis, age 78, of Knoxville, Tennessee passed away on Monday, May 19, 2025, after a long and courageous battle with dementia. She was a graduate of South High School. Joan retired from UT Medical Center after 30 years of service. She played the piano and organ in various churches throughout her life.
Joan was preceded in death by her loving husband of 53 years, William "Bill" Davis; parents, Emerson Davis and Hazel Clark and brother, Donnie Davis.
She is survived by her daughters, Alisa Davis (Bob), Laurie Webb (Eric Grindle); grandchildren, Zachary Davis, Jacob Harrison, Nicole Pereyo and many extended family members.
Family and friends will meet Sunday, May 25, 2025 at Woodlawn Cemetery, 4500 Woodlawn Pike, Knoxville, TN 37920 for a 2:00 PM graveside service officiated by Rev. Lucky Steele.
