Joanne Harriet Keenan

Joanne Harriet Keenan passed away Tuesday, March 26th, 2024 at home in Kodak, TN, surrounded by family. Joanne lived a full life for 88 years. Joanne was born in 1936 in Flint, Michigan. She was preceded in death by her dad, Joseph Adams, her mom, Matie, and her husband, William Keenan. She is survived by her son Jason Keenan (Monika Keenan), daughter Jacinda Keenan, grandchildren Tasha Clute, Sacha Keenan (Lukas Koterec), Jaden Keenan (Briley Keenan), Bazyl and Channing Keenan, great grandchildren Riley and Lilly.

Joanne lived life to the fullest! Being in nature was her happy place! She loved hiking, skiing, golfing, deer hunting, and traveling. She was part of a Bunco and Volunteer Women Auxiliary groups in Flint, Michigan. She enjoyed volunteering with both of these groups of women. She was a remarkable storyteller, often making up bedtime stories for her children and grandchildren. She was the family historian, ensuring everyone heard their ancestors' stories.

After moving to Tennessee, Joanne made countless friends while serving great food and kindness to everyone at Paradise Cafe, located at Flea Traders Paradise. Joanne never met a stranger and was happiest when surrounded by friends and family. Joanne was a light in the world that will be missed by everyone who ever met her!
