Joe E. Arwood, Jr. age 71, passed away September 23, 2024. Joe loved his family, drag racing, camping and piddling in his shop. He is preceded in death by his parents, Joe Arwood, Sr. and Evelyn Arwood. Survived by his loving wife, Kathy Arwood; son, Joe E. Arwood, III and wife Kriss; daughter, Barbie Beaver and husband, Mike; grandson, Weston Beaver; brother, James B. Arwood; sister, Vicky Harmon and husband, Mitch Lemon; sisters-in-law, LeAnn West and Kelly Ellis and husband LeeRoy; nephews, Kevin and Keith Ellis. The family will receive friends 5-7 pm Wednesday at Weaver’s Chapel with the service to follow at 7 pm. Rev. Henry Brown officiating. Family and friends will meet at 10:45 am Thursday at Berry Highland Memorial Cemetery for an 11 am interment. Weaver Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
