John Charles Herrell III

John Charles Herrell "Uncle John", "Brother", age 84, of Knoxville, Tennessee passed away on Thursday, March 9, 2023. He was a South High graduate 1956. John worked at Babe Maloy's throughout high school and into his college years and then joined the United States Air Force. Throughout his career he worked in electronics and later in life he worked for Watson's Department Store. Uncle John loved all animals. He always carried dog treats in his pockets to share at the dog park and family and neighborhood pets. He was preceded in death by his mother, Glendyn Cooper Herrell; nephew-in-law, Craig Burnett and his beloved pets. John is survived by his sister, Martha Herrell Johnson; niece, Sherry Johnson Burnett and a host of cousins. The family would like to thank John's friendly and caring neighbors.
