Carol & Tom, and all the family, words just can’t express what my heart feels. I am so deeply sorry for your loss and sadness. I am daily lifting each of you to the only true source of comfort, our Lord Jesus. I know that John and Roby are probably talking Fulton basketball and that makes me smile. I love you and will be praying for you in the coming days.

John Z...

I am sorry, my friend. I did not know the struggles you grew into. I only remember the countless days of being with my best friend. If we were not hangin’ out, we were on the phone. I’m pretty sure I could remember your old home phone #, and I do not remember phone #’s easily.

I’ve had best friends since, but I’ve never had another BEST FRIEND like you.

But one day, everything changed, and it broke my heart. I never understood,...I had lost my best friend, and I’ve missed you since.

I was too young and naive to know/notice that my friend may have been struggling even then.

I have loved you since day one, and I am sorry I did not know how to help...
