Johnny Woodrow Edington Sr.

Johnny W. Edington Sr 83 of Knoxville went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, March 19, 2025 at his residence. He loved his wife and children and his precious fur babies, Milo and Ellie. Johnny was a Marine Corp veteran and served in Viet Nam and received a Purple Heart for his injuries.

He was preceded in death by parents, 2 sisters and 4 brothers. Johnny is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Grace Edington; son, Johnny (Tiffany) Edington Jr; daughter, Crystal (Sam) Rockholt; brother; Rex Edington; l sister-in-laws; Mary Sue Lundy, Diane Edington and Brenda Edington; several nieces and nephews also survive.

The family will receive friends Sunday March 30, 2025 from 3-5 p.m. at Berry Highland South Funeral Home 9010 E. Simpson Road. Family and friends will meet Monday March 31, 2025 at East Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery, 2300 E. Governor John Sevier Hwy for a 12:30 p.m. graveside service. Rev.
