Johnny "JB" Sexton

Johnny Buin Sexton, age 58, of Knoxville, TN passed away on Sunday, January 29, 2023. Johnny was a lifetime brick and block mason. He loved playing pool, fishing but most of all he loved his family especially his granddaughter Daisy. Johnny was preceded in death by his mother Christine Gilreath; father Charles Sexton and brother Gary Sexton. He is survived by his sons David (Brandi) Sexton and Josh Sexton; granddaughter Daisy; sister Cheryl McCoig; brother C.L. Sexton; uncle Leonard; several nieces and nephews; and special friends Archie and Dennis. A visitation for Johnny will be held Friday, February 3, 2023 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM with a funeral following at 7:00 PM in the Magnolia Chapel at Berry Highland Funeral Home, 9010 E. Simpson Rd, Knoxville, TN 37920. Family and friends will gather on Saturday, February 4, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Berry HIghland Cemetery for a graveside service. In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations be made for expenses to David Sexton.
