Jose Danilo Bonilla Jr., was born to the late Hercilia Hammes, on November 6, 1948 in Puerto Burious, Guatemala. He passed away on February 16, 2022. Jose worked for the CDC in Atlanta, Georgia. He served in the United States Navy in Vietnam and Japan.
Jose was blessed with a loving family. he was very kind and always appreciative for even the little things. He will be dearly missed by his loved ones.
Jose is preceded in death by his sister, Linda Miller. He is survived by his father, Paul Hammes; sisters, Patricia (Jerry) Kerby and Lisa (Bruce) Cobb; nieces and nephews, Steve Ivie, Heather (Shane) House, Jason (Melissa) Ivie, Sean Kerby, Adam Cobb, Angie (Victor) Sutapaha, Jeff (Geneve) Miller, Ryan Miller and Michael (Mapzy) Miller.
A graveside service will be held for Jose on Saturday, February 26, 2022 at 1pm at Berry Highland Memorial Cemetery, 5315 Kingston Pike.
