

Joseph was raised and went through school in Orlando, Florida, attended college and became a licensed electrician. He first worked as a Security Guard, and was certified as a K-9 dog trainer. He then worked as an electrician and became a supervisor for commercial property electrical installation. He loved his dogs, roller skating, coin collecting, playing guitar and listening to music. He was a member of Conway United Methodist Church in Orlando, Florida and was baptised by immersion in 1996 at Greenback Memorial Baptist Church in Greenback, Tennessee. He had a head on collision in a motorcycle accident when he was 19, and as a result became so disabled he could not work. Joseph was married twice and has two sons and a daughter.
He is preceded in death by his Father Ronnie Eugene Wilson, and grandparents Rex and Blanch Wilson, Harlis and Frances Gross, and Bennie Lee Houston.
He is survived by his son, Eric Eugene Wilson, mother, Rev. Dr. Diana Faye Houston, fiance Fronisa Lawson and two half-brothers Johnny Rhea Gross, and Daniel Wilson both of Knoxville Tennessee. He has 3 nephews Joshua Rhea, Jacob Dalton, and Aaron Jarred Gross, and two nieces, Danielle Lynn Melancon and Ryanna Marie Wilson- Berry. He has five aunts and 4 uncles: Donna Houston, Charlsie and Dan Hobbs, Christine and Denny Williams, Darlene and Michael Gravenmier and Brenda and Dan Evans. and 14 first cousins, and a family friend Tim Boling.
A visitation for Joseph will be held Saturday, October 15, 2022 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Berry Highland South, followed by a funeral service at 5:00 PM.
