Joyce B. Bromley

Joyce B. Bromley, age 96 of Knoxville, passed away February 25, 2021. She was an avid reader, loved singing, began the Vision Services as a Knoxville City school teacher and became a private tutor. She loved to square dance. She was a lifelong member of First Baptist Church of Knoxville. A member of Delta Kappa Gamma and volunteered on the Board of Directors for Knoxville Teacher’s Federal Credit Union. She was a consultant who worked to further vision service in East Tennessee. Preceded in death by husband, Thomas Bromley; parents, Clarence and Edith Barker; brother, Clarence Barker, Jr. Survived by daughter, Jeannie Bromley Fair; grandchildren Mae (Jordan) Manis and great-grandchild, Elend Manis; cousin, Mary Ann (Sam) Venable. Family will receive friends at Weaver Funeral home on Wednesday from 2:00-5:00 pm. Graveside service will be held Thursday at 1:00 pm at Shiloh Cemetery in Tusculum, TN.
