Joyce Ann Miles

Joyce Ann Miles, age 74, of Knoxville, Tennessee passed away on Saturday, August 16, 2025. She was a devoted Christian who faithfully attended Bashert Baptist Church in Blaine, TN. Joyce was a loving mamaw, and greatly enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.

Preceded in death by her father, Byrd Phillips; mother, Hazel Phillips; siblings: Georgie, James, Thelma, JT, Frieda, and Linda.

She is survived by her loving husband of 52 years, William Miles; son, Howard Atchley; daughter, Candy Miles; son, John Miles (Melissa); grandchildren: Allen Atchley, Chelsea, Jaiden Miles, and William Miles; several great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild; and brother, Dennis Phillips (Kathy).

Family will receive friends from 5:00 - 7:00 PM Tuesday, August 19, 2025 at McCarty Evergreen Funeral Home, 7426 Asheville Hwy, with a funeral service to follow at 7:00 PM, Darrall Walker officiating. Family and friends will meet at 10:45 AM at Thorngrove Cemetery, 721 S Carter School Rd, Wednesday, August 20, 2025 for an 11:00 AM interment.
