Joyce H. Rogers

She was born on February 4,1935 in Portsmouth, OH.

Joyce was a 1953 graduate of South High School and worked for Southern Bell for 35 years. After retirement she volunteered for the Eagles Club in Orlando before returning to Knoxville.

She was a kind and gentle lady who found great joy in helping other people.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Sam and Bertha Hedrick; sisters: Wanda Sharp, Dorothy Cook, Wilma Province, Jean Edwards, Melinda Sue Boone; husband, Jimmie Lynn Rogers and daughter, Nancy Centorani.

Survived by her children, Mark Tuttle and Kelly Phillips; grandchildren: Stefani Padgett (Daniel), Steven Blume (Tresa), Chris Centorani (Shamarmaree) and great grandchildren, Taylor Padgett, Rylan Padgett, Emery Padgett, Penny Padgett, Ava Blume, Maggie Blume and Skylar Centorani.

A gathering to celebrate Joyce’s life will be held at Berry Funeral Home, 3704 Chapman Hwy. Knoxville, TN 37920, on Saturday, February 21, 2026, from 4 PM until 6 PM.

She will be forever loved and missed by all who knew her.
