She worked at Kroger for 50 years in the meat department. Regardless of her children's age, she always put her personal life aside to make sure they were taken care of. One of the happiest days of her life was the day her granddaughter, Annie, was born. Later in life, Annie would give Juanita great-grandchildren which made her life extra enjoyable for many years. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and she will be dearly missed by all.
She is preceded in death by her parents Naomi and Allison Ellis; siblings Don Ellis, Betty Chambers, Dot Davis and Wanda Rimmer and a special niece and nephew Carrie Vanzant and Darryl Rimmer.
Juanita is survived by her children Debbie (Jimbo) Williams and Mike (Cheryl) King; granddaughter Annie (Austin) Henry; great-grandchildren Hadley, Delaney and Fletcher Henry and many special nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to be made to YOKE Ministries, 1401 Cecil Avenue, Knoxville, TN 37917, or Young Life Ministries, 911 Mountcastle Street, Knoxville, TN 37916, in Juanita's name.
Family and friends will meet at Berry Highland South in the Garden of Valor on Friday, September 22. 2023, at 11am for a Graveside Service, officiated by Rev. Charlie McNutt.
