Judith Ann Atchley, age 82, passed on September 3, 2026, surrounded by her family. She was born February 12, 1944, in Knoxville, Tennessee. Judy was a devoted wife, loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Judy had a life long history of spreading joy with her music. She led a ministry called the Joy Makers who traveled throughout the community.
Preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Bertha Clower; daughter, Jennifer Hicks; and beloved husband, Richard Lynn Atchley.
She is survived by son, Randal Atchley (Barbara); son-in-law, Tommy Hicks; granddaughters, Julie Feole (Ben) and Kelly Parrado (Leandro); grandsons; David Atchley (Lydia), Jonathon Hicks (Jackie), and Jeffrey Atchley (Alex); great-grandchildren; Levi Feole, Josiah Feole, Aaron Feole, Blair Atchley, Cian Atchley, Chloe Hicks, and Teddy Hicks.
The family will receive friends in the Chapel of Berry Funeral Home, 3704 Chapman Hwy, Knoxville, TN 37920, from 3:30-5:00 PM on Monday, September 7th, with a joint Memorial service to follow with Rev. Charlie McNutt officiating.
The family will be having a private inurnment service.
