Judy Ann Mynatt, age 73 passed away on Saturday, June 24, 2023 at Ft. Sanders Covenant Health. Judy was a non-active member of South Knoxville Baptist Church, and a 1968 graduate of Young High School. She also graduated from Knoxville Business College in 1970.
Judy was preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Ruth Nadine Owens.
She leaves behind her beloved husband of 40 years, Steven Michael Mynatt; precious dog, Ellie Mae; brother-in-law, Edsel V. Mynatt; as well as several cousins and aunts.
Judy was a very devoted employee of ORNL for 22 years, 5 years with ElmCroft Assisted Living, 5 years with Catholic Charities of East TN, 2 years with First Horizon, and 2 years with Elavon. She will be sadly missed by many special friends, including Tim Kershaw and family, Kristie, George and Tyler Sheffield, as well as Mary Ann, Angela Petty, Kathy Sargent, Melanie Hyams, Janet Dunn, Joe Zaffarano, Robbie Broom, Butch, and many more friends who truly loved Judy.
A special thanks to the staff of Ft. Sanders Advanced Medicine on the 5th Floor and Dr. Dean Mire and staff at East TN Primary Care Associates.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 - 7:30 PM Thursday, July 6, 2023 at Berry Funeral Home, 3704 Chapman Highway, Knoxville TN 37920.
