Julia Elizabeth Milsaps

Julia “Nana” Chapman Milsaps, age 94 of Knoxville, peacefully went to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, June 29, 2018, while surrounded by her loving family. She was a member of Middlebrook Pike United Methodist Church. Preceded in death by her loving husband, Rev. William B. Milsaps; son, Rev. Joe G. Milsaps; parents and several siblings. Survived by son, Kent (Teresa) Milsaps; daughters, Linda (Karl) Sammons and Patricia Burnette; daughter-in-law, Ann Milsaps; 10 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Rachel Chapman and Linda Acuff; several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends 5-7 pm Thursday at Middlebrook Pike United Methodist Church with the service to follow at 7 pm. Rev. William C. “Bill” Rimmer and Rev. Bruce Galyon officiating. The family will have a private burial. A special thanks to the staff at St. Mary’s Tennova Hospital and to Juliana, Angie, Donna, Kathy, Molly, Amanda and Stephanie at Tennova Hospice.
