

Julius Frantz Hudson age 93 of Knoxville, passed away Tuesday, March 21, 2017. He was a longstanding member of Bearden United Methodist Church. Julius was a WWII veteran of the United States Army Air Corp. He was a flight engineer on the B-17. He retired from Union Carbide with over 30 years of service as a Nuclear Materials Accountability Manager. He graduated from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, with degrees in Statistics. Preceded in death by parents John Leonard and Luit Garde Shide Hudson, his wife Rhema Yolanda Smith Hudson and granddaughter Erica Leah Lannom. Survivors include sister Eunice Hudson Mosman, son and daughter-in-law Dr. J.W. and Kelly Hudson, daughter and son-in-law Julie and David Lannom, grandchildren Hailey Elizabeth Hudson, Marcus David Lannom, Michael Franklin Lannom and wife Lauren Bates Lannom, and a host of nieces and nephews.
