June Kennedy

Iva June Roberts Kennedy (Noonie) Born July 15, 1938 passed away after a courageous battle with cancer on Thursday, March 24, 2022 at home surrounded by loved ones. Noonie retired from Levi Strauss after more than 40 years of service. She loved her dog, Mickey, giving hugs, planting flowers, traveling with family and had several pen pals whom she loved dearly. Noonie was loved by everyone that knew her.

Preceded in death by Parents, William (Mac) and Daisy Roberts (Stringfield); Siblings, Bobbie, James (Roy) Ken, Barbara Roberts, Velma Talley and Sammie Hensley.

She is survived by Daughter and Son-in-Law, Andrea and Jeff Money; Grand-children, Chris Money and girlfriend Shelby Taylor, Sienna, Trinity, Bryan (Margo) Money; Great-grandchildren, Atley and Lizzie; Siblings, Steve and Linda (Jett) Roberts, Vickie and Mark Smith, Norma Lebow; Sisters-in-law, Helen Roberts, LaDonna Key; Brothers-in-law, Steve Hensley, Gene Talley; several nieces; nephews and Special close friend, Faye Shaw.

The family would like to offer special thanks to Amedisys Hospice for the wonderful care they provided.

The family will receive friends Sunday, March 27, 2022 between the hours of 6:00pm-8:00pm in the chapel of McCarty Evergreen Funeral Home, 7426 Asheville Hwy, Knoxville, with a service to follow officiated by Rev. Charlie Dalton. Family and friends will meet Monday, March 28, 2022 at Asbury Cemetery, Knoxville for an 11:00 Interment Service. Pallbearers are Chris Money, Jeff Money, Brandon Haun, Darren Haun, Charles Roberts, Will Smith, Pete Kirby, Tanner Kirby, Jason Talley and Matthew Talley.
