She loved reading, singing and pouring into her daughter's lives with all she could do. She would do anything for anyone and became instant friends with those that she met. In short, she never met an enemy. "Good friends are hard to find, harder to leave and impossible to forget."

Kami is survived by her husband of 15 years, Sean Emert; daughters, Ailena-Charlotte and Anlee-Joan; stepson, Cody Emert and his wife, Dana; stepdaughters, Hayley, Zoe and Pippa Emert; granddaughter, Cheylie and numerous cousins.
