Katherine Loraine Miller, also known as Kaye, age 88, was born September 23, 1937, in Berne, Indiana, and died June 26, 2026. She resided in Knoxville, Tennessee. Kaye will be remembered with deep respect and enduring affection, held close as a beloved presence whose steady devotion shaped the lives and faith of those around her.
Kaye was a registered nurse and served others through her work in Indiana, Georgia, and Tennessee. Her calling was evident not only in her profession, but also in the care and constancy she offered in everyday life. She was also a founding member of the Mennonite church in Ft. In quieter moments, Kaye found joy in being an avid gardener and bird watcher, and she loved puzzles and reading—simple pleasures that spoke to a thoughtful spirit and a life well tended.
Kaye was very devoted to Beulah United Methodist Church and was involved with her Women of Grace group at Calvary Baptist Church. The family expresses gratitude to the congregations at Beulah United Methodist Church and the members of her women’s group for their care and support.
