Kathleen Trotter Franklin

On February 17, our precious Lord took Kathleen Trotter Franklin to her Heavenly Home. At age 92, she was "the last pea in the dish" of 12 children. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Isaac Perman Franklin and her first-born, John C. Wilson. She was a devoted Mother to Sandra Smith, Norma Laws, Anita Minturn, Ronnie (Susan) Franklin, cherished grandmother to Justin Wilson, Lisa Bodie, LeAnn Scott, Kim Rapp, Rusty Laws, Zac and Mac Minturn, Amie, Drew and Allie Franklin and treasured great-grandmother to 14 and great-great-grandmother to 4.

Our beloved Mother loved life! She loved singing along with Ray Charles and Dean Martin and dancing to almost any music playing! Most of all, she loved being surrounded by her family enjoying a good laugh, good food, good conversation and lots of hugs! Our Mother was a wise, warm, classy, funny lady who taught us to cherish life; most importantly to always be there for each other and our friends. Mom had many friends from her years working retail at Sears for several years.

There will be a short visitation and memorial service at Berry Funeral Home Saturday, February 21st at 10 AM. Interment at Berry Highland South Cemetery will be private.
