Kelsey LeAnne Evans of Knoxville, TN died from injuries sustained by a horrific accident on Chapman Hwy on June 3, 2021 at the age of 27. Kelsey came in this world fighting on July 14, 1993. She was 11 weeks early weighing 2 lbs. 9 oz. and she left this world a fighter. Kelsey was a caring and giving soul. She always worried about others before herself. She never knew a stranger and always saw the good in everyone. Kelsey was a beautiful angel on earth as she will be in heaven. She will be forever remembered as the giving and caring daughter, sister, granddaughter and friend. She is survived and will be forever missed by her mother, Kimberly Lane; father, David Lewis Evans, Jr.; sisters, Destiny Cotter, Megan Evans; brothers, Dalton Lane, David Lewis Evans III (Kaitlyn Daniels) and Hunter Evans; nephew, Kayson Evans; grandparents, Otis & Ina Lane and Charlene Evans; aunt, Shannon Lane; and other extended family and friends. Preceded in death by grandparents, Gladys Gomez, Otis and Pearl Lane, Carl and Dot Ellis, and David Lewis Evans Sr. The family extends a special thank you to the Sevier County and Knox County Sheriff's Departments for the kind and gentle way they handled everything- not those at County Corrections. The family will host a Visitation on Wednesday, June 9th from 5:00-7:00pm at Berry Highland South, 9010 E. Simpson Rd, Knoxville, TN 37920. The Graveside Service will be held at Berry Highland South Cemetery on Thursday, June 10th at 1:00pm. Online condolences may be made at berryhighlandsouth.com.

Oh my sweet Kels. I still can't believe you are gone. Your mind and soul is now resting peacefully. I will continue to speak your name. You were an angel here on earth to everyone that knew you. I take comfort knowing that you are in heaven surround by family. Aunt Shannon will always love you. I will meet you at Heavens gate one day.
