Kenneth Wayne Cash, 68, of Knoxville, passed away peacefully after a brief but brave battle with cancer at his home surrounded by his loved ones. He was a member of Portland St. Baptist Church. Though officially a trim carpenter, there wasn't anything he couldn't fix, build or do. Helping others came naturally and he was always there when you needed him. He was an avid sports fan, and you could often find him relaxing in his recliner, watching westerns, listening to classic rock, reading or solving puzzles. Most of all, he enjoyed attending his grandchildren's many events and spending time with family and loved ones.
Kenneth is preceded and death by parents, Orville James Cash and Barbara Joyce Cash; son, Kevin Cash; sister, Mary and brother, Jack.
He is survived by his wife for 52 years, Diane and grandson, Carter; daughters, Tonya (George) and Angie (Chad); grandchildren, Taylor, Braden, Jacob, Noah, Bella, and Harper; brothers, sisters, many nieces, nephews and sister-in-law Prissy.
Receiving of friends will be held on Thursday, May 22, 2025 at 4pm with a funeral service to follow at 7pm at Berry Highland Memorial Funeral Home. A graveside will be held at Berry Highland Memorial Cemetery on Friday, May 23, 2025 at 11am.
